Eric Rice

For the past 15 years, Eric Rice has held senior positions with global technology companies involved in domain name management, direct marketing and Internet marketing. From 1994—2000 he served as Vice President of Business Development for ConnectedBrands, a national direct marketing agency specializing in the high tech industry. He crafted the strategy for major clients such as Comcast, Earthlink, IBM Direct, Avid Technology, Sierra, World Book Interactive and dozens of others.

In 2000 he was named General Manager of Bulkregister, the eighth largest domain registrar. His most significant achievement was crafting and managing the company's highly profitable venture into domain monetization, which greatly enhanced its attractiveness as an acquisition target. Skilled in the domain monetization field, Eric is currently providing domain monetization and consulting services through his company, Domains For Media LLC ( His consultancy helps registrars, hosting companies and domain owners derive better — or new — monetization strategies for their domains and domain portfolios. Greg is our Internet General Contractor and a 25 year business and marketing veteran, having spent the past 12 years focused specifically on the Internet space. He has started several Internet ventures and held Chief Marketing Officer positions at two public, Internet based companies -- and Network Commerce, Inc. He has built and managed two Internet marketing and consulting practices, and has directed the Internet efforts for several
integrated advertising agencies including FCBi Seattle (an Interpublic company) and DNA Brand Mechanics (a leading Seattle-based agency).

Greg has built market-tested know-how in many Web marketing strategies including search engine marketing, display advertising, e-mail marketing, and domain development and optimization. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to build Web sites and provide Internet marketing and consulting for companies like, Nautilus, Speakeasy,, and many others.

Greg's expertise has been augmented by his utilization of numerous tools of the Internet marketing and monetization trade, including ad serving technologies (OpenAdStream, Atlas Solutions), media planning and buying (@Plan, AdRelevance), domain parking (Skenzo), E-mail marketing (Streamsend, Constant Contact), and research (Zoomerang).

Chuck started his career in financial services building a strong foundation focused on customer needs-based selling. Since those early days, Chuck has performed strategic planning, direct marketing, business development and interactive consulting services for clients such as Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, American Cancer Society, Corporate Express and many others. Chuck has a B.B.A. in Finance and a M.B.A. in Marketing from Loyola College in Maryland. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (M.C.S.E.).

Chuck has helped dozens of entrepreneurs build profitable businesses by setting benchmarks, executing aggressive marketing and business development programs. If he isn't increasing revenues, reducing cost or improving productivity, you will find him on the golf course.
